God used Jason and Christy’s restlessness to take them from Ohio to Cameroon, where they founded the Bible Institute in 2015. When they got there, the country had 80 churches with only four pastors. Thanks to the Institute, it now has around 100 churches with 50 pastors. In addition, all of the country’s top Charis Alliance leaders have graduated from the program, giving them a more unified mindset. In recent years they’ve updated their 50-year-old curriculum, contextualized it for African cultures, and started training dozens of professors to teach it. God has clearly been at work in the Bible institute, but now they’re in need of $15,000 to host the next training session and meet the ongoing needs for continued education.
